How to work on the oil film bearing of rolling mill

The oil film bearing of the rolling mill is generally used as the support of the roll, and the working condition is extremely bad. On the one hand, the speed and load change are large, the impact vibration is large, and some rolling mills are frequent and reversed, making the formation of the dynamic pressure oil film difficult to stabilize, easily causing dry friction or boundary. Lubrication, damage to the bearing; on the other hand, under the conditions of cooling water splash, iron oxide skin and high ambient temperature, external pollutants (water, water vapor, dust, etc.) inevitably enter the lubrication system, causing oil pollution and even emulsification. The oil film strength is reduced and the bearing is easily damaged. Oil film bearing is a key component to support the operation of the roll. The manufacturing precision is very high and the price is high. Therefore, the oil film bearing oil has very strict quality requirements, mainly:

1) Good anti-emulsification properties, which can quickly separate the moisture in the oil during normal operation;

2) Good anti-wear and extreme pressure performance, when mixing a small amount of water in the oil, it can maintain the bearing capacity and anti-wear performance and prolong the bearing life;

3) Good anti-corrosion and anti-rust properties;

4) Excellent viscosity-temperature characteristics, normal lubrication can be achieved when the bearing temperature changes greatly;

5) Good anti-foam performance;

6) Good oxidation stability and prolong the service life of the oil;

7) Better filterability and hydrolytic stability.
